Week 9 – Part 2 – Change the world

I am whole

I know, I know, I’ve already posted this week!!  These ideas kept coming to me, insisting that I share them!  What’s a girl to do?

“I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy.”  This is something which we are to affirm to ourselves often.  I like it.  It makes me feel good about myself, it makes me think.  I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately.  That’s part of the work of the MKMMA course, but I think ALL of the TIME!  This is a good thing.  Not only are we giving this message to ourselves about ourselves, but we are also seeing this in all of those with whom we meet.  It correlates with Og Mandino’s Scroll II in the Greatest Salesman in the World, where we are to look at others and think, “I love you!”  What we think about others has an impact on them, so why not give them a gift of good, correct thought?  In this practice, we are improving ourselves, changing ourselves, and as a bonus, we are changing the world!

What world are we changing?  Primarily, the world within.  Our thoughts determine our experience.  So I changedAs we align our thinking with the truth of who we really are, God’s image, we see that become clear in our experience.  I see it more and more frequently.  Harmony begins to assert itself when our thoughts become harmonious.   Who could argue that our world doesn’t need harmony?  Mom always taught me that society’s woes or successes are founded in the home.  Just so, our individual successes are based on our thoughts. As the home is a microcosm of society, our thoughts are a microcosm of our experience.  These microcosms are causal.

change compassWe’re learning to follow the compass, not the clock.  Huh?  How do we not follow the clock?  We have appointments, we make a schedule, we need to be prompt!  Well, that’s all well and good, but to what end?  What are you working towards?  Where are you going?  The compass guides our steps, it helps us to find our way.  The clock helps things to mesh, but it doesn’t lead us anywhere. Give me a compass, any day!!

change essence of lifeI’m having to sacrifice quite a bit on this journey of mine.  Things about myself that I’ve accepted but are untrue.  Things about others that are assumed and accepted, but false.  I need to surrender what I believe that I am in order to find out the Truth.  Truth is the Master Key, we’re learning this week.  Jesus taught this many centuries ago:  “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free!”  change is goodI’m not just willing to surrender what I am (what I believe about myself), I’m eager to let it go, to find my limitless possibilities!

I haven’t been this excited about my life, my future, since I was very young!  I look forward to my destination, now that I know it doesn’t have to be what I’ve been expecting (dreading).  change direction quoteWhat a better way to live, this is, than drudging through life, bemoaning my fate, bewailing my circumstances.  Life is GOOD!

  1. WOW! Life is good! I can feel your excitement and how happy you are to discover your true self. Surrender is a word whose context has changed over the years. It’s about giving up something to get something else. You’re giving up the old blueprint to get your true self which is whole, perfect. strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy!

  2. Sue, You are a very good writer and deep thinker. I always enjoy your blog and have readi it really from the beginning of the class. I can see how much you are growing and it is inspriting. I am lagging behind some and often feeling breathless at the pace but holding on! … I love the description of your home in your Press Release… 🙂

  3. Excellent second post for the week. I can tell your mind is ‘thinking’, ruminating or meditating through change. The firing and wiring is evident. New peptides rejoicing in good habits, and a wonderful mental diet filled with greeting each and everyday with LOVE.

  4. excellent, Sue, and especially enjoyed your video choice, Eric Clapton is a favorite of mine and I had never heard this one, I love it! Your exuberance in this post is like a sparkler on the fourth of July.
